Introduction
These photos were taken on a tour of the Ninth Ward I was given by Malcolm McClay. There is a sense of loss and emptiness that the photographs only begin to record. Conditions for many of the residents and former residents of New Orleans are still unbearable in many instances. Many are displaced, mentally and physically overtired and without hope.
